VERMILION LAKES
The lakes are a very short drive west of Banff Townsite. Shallow and easily visible from the highway above they make for an easy hike. Wetlands separate the lakes and you may see bikers peddling past. Watch for some of the 250 species (many migratory) that know these lakes well.
